Our Brokerage and Trading team facilitates
customer transactions and takes proprietary positions
in fixed income and equity products, currencies, commodities,
together with any related derivatives products. As well
as dealing in a broad range of products on an advisory
and execution basis, we provide in-house custody and settlement
services. Jermyn’s strategy is to pursue investment
opportunities on a global basis with an emphasis on emerging
markets, devising highly innovative products tailor made
to suit specific client’s needs. We have two trading
desks, namely Equities and Derivatives.
Jermyn originates investment ideas, leading
to trading equities and equity related products, structure
and enter into equity derivative transactions for our
clients and engage in proprietary trading.
Based on our understanding and knowledge
of emerging markets in particular we provide execution
and arranging services in the following products:
- Equities and Convertible Bonds in India, Far East,
Europe and USA.
- Global Depository Receipts (“GDRs”)
listed on the London Stock Exchange or other European
Exchanges.
- American Depository Receipts (“ADRs”)
listed in USA on NYSE and NASDAQ amongst others.
- Contract for Differences (“CFDs”) can
be provided for most GDRs, ADRs, European or US Stocks.
We have a dedicated team of research
analysts based in India to cover companies in various
sectors including Information Technology, Capital Goods,
Oil & Gas, Metals, Cement, Pharmaceuticals, Banking,
Auto and Auto ancillary and Textiles. Our research ideas
are produced to cover events as they occur, with Daily
Reports, to provide a synopsis of key events, Weekly Reports,
and for more detailed analysis Company Reports and Industry
Reports.
We advise, arrange, structure and trade
in interest rates, currencies, commodities, and fixed
income securities and enter into a wide range of derivative
transactions on behalf of clients and engage in proprietary
trading.
Jermyn has an international presence
in the derivatives market through its relationships with
some of the leading institutions of UK, USA, Europe and
the Middle East. We arrange and advise on a variety of
structured products, capital guaranteed notes, futures
and options based on commodities, indexes, currencies
or interest rates. We structure products according to
investors’ appetite and risk preferences on different
classes of assets.
